The saying goes "you have to spend money to make money."
So how does the average American make their dreams of self-employment and
owning their business happen? Once a small business owner myself, I know how
difficult it can be to promote and grow your business and make your endeavors a
success. On top of startup costs, there is the need to advertise to make the
masses aware of the services you offer. It seemed that “little old me” would
never make my business grow. I couldn't afford anything more than word of
mouth. Business became very slow, nearly a stand still. I was forced to find
other sources of income. It is frustrating that the rich become richer, while
